My first essay for Wise About Water was published waaaayyy back in August 2013. My, how time flies! Though I thought I might have trouble finding something to write about, it’s never really been a problem. There is always something new to say about water or something worth repeating. Good water quality and healthy lakes requires continuous attention and we are in it for the long haul!
With that in mind, here are some previous posts that still resonate today. Enjoy a little deja vu!
- Salt a lot, salt a little – it does make a difference
- We need plants, especially native plants, along our shorelines
- Slow it, sink it, spread it
- National research documents continental-scale change in lake and stream phosphorus
- Planting a summer bird feeder
- Meet the Neighbors series, starting with cyanobacteria
- Finding treasure
Hope you’ve found tidbits of interest or something new over the years. I know I have.
