The Burr Pond Association is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the sole purpose of protecting Burr Ponds value as a public recreational facility and respect the interests of property owners and the public. The Association actively works to improve the conditions on Burr Pond, including, but not limited to, aiding in the management and control of invasive weeds in the pond; encouraging neatness and cleanliness of the shores of the pond; preserving the native plants and animals; maintaining close contact with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department; and augmenting such conditions as will make the pond an ideal place for recreation.
