March 28, 2014: Read the Second time, reported favorably with proposal of amendment by Senator Snelling for the Natural Resources and Energy Committee (4-0-1 vote). The Senate agreed to change the wording of ‘flood hazard area’ to ‘flood hazard area or river corridor,’ and after ‘chapter 117’ to add ‘or commence construction of a State-owned and -operated institution or facility located within a flood hazard area or river corridor.’  The bill passed the Senate on April 1 as amended.

April 4, 2014: The House agreed with the Senate’s amendment, and the bill as amended passed both the House and the Senate.
