This bill proposes to amend the transition section of the Shorelands Protection Act regarding when the requirements of the Act do not apply.  A permit or registration under 10 V.S.A. Chapter 49A for the creation of impervious surface or cleared area within a protected shoreland area shall not be required on a parcel of land for a project for which all municipal zoning and development were obtained or applied for prior to the effective date of the Act.  It removes the requirement that all “necessary State, local, or federal” permits be obtained or applied for as well.

Status: Introduced and read for the first time on 1/13/15.  Referred to the Committee on Fish, Wildlife and Water Resources.
