H.570 as passed the House repeals the existing prohibition on the use of felt-soled boots or waders in Vermont waters. The Senate’s amendment does not affect this provision in the House bill.

Status: April 27, 2016 – Read for the Second time, reported favorably with proposal of amendment by Senator Rodgers for Committee on Natural Resources and Energy. Also reported favorably by Senator Degree for the Committee on Finance. Proposal of amendment by Committee on Natural Resources and Energy agreed to and another proposal of amendment by Senator Rodgers was also agreed to. A Third Reading was ordered.

Status: April 29, 2016 – This bill was read for the Third time on April 28 and passed in concurrence with proposal of amendment. The Senate sent a message to the House that the bill passed in concurrence with a proposal of amendment. The repeal of the existing prohibition on the use of felt-soled boots or waders in Vermont waters remains in the bill.

Status: May 2, 2016 – Senate proposal of amendment considered and concurred in by the House. H.570 has passed both the House and the Senate.
