Recording of Hidden Worlds: Life Under the Surface
Annual Lake Seminar
Do you know what’s going on in your lake? You might be surprised!
On June 5th, 2026, the Federation of Vermont Lakes and Ponds and the Vermont DEC held the Annual Lake Seminar in person at the South Burlington Library and via Zoom. It was a great success with fascinating presentations from a variety of speakers.
If you missed it or would like to revisit some of the talks, please find the recording and presentations here.
We enjoy a walk in the woods because of the richness of this ecosystem with its variety of flora and fauna. A healthy lake is also rich in its diversity but not nearly so familiar, because it is not often seen by those of us who enjoy these waters. In this seminar, experts highlighted some of the many fascinating parts of this hidden ecosystem.
