The Federation of Vermont Lakes and Ponds (FOVLAP) Visits Lake Associations Around Vermont
During the summer of 2025, FOVLAP Board members provided direct support and visited five lakes and ponds around Vermont, both in person and virtually by Zoom. The goal was to share information and resources and spread the word about FOVLAP’s mission and efforts. Our momentum is building! FOVLAP currently has 51 member Lake Associations, and we hope to add more. Expanding our membership enables members to exchange information, learn from one another and increase our effectiveness in advocating for lake protection measures in the legislature.
The following lakes were visited:
- Forest Lake (also known as Nelson Pond)
- Green River Reservoir
- East Long Pond
- Lake Elmore
- Wolcott Pond
Learn about the details of each visit and the information that was shared in our most recent newsletter by clicking here:
Schedule a 2026 Visit! We will continue our statewide outreach next year. If your association or stewardship group would benefit from a FOVLAP board member presentation, please contact Deborah Miuccio at deborah.miuccio@vermontlakes.org
Our voices for Vermont’s lakes and ponds are stronger together! Please consider renewing your membership or becoming a member of FOVLAP.
Dues start at just $25/year for individuals and $50/year for lake association. Click here for more information.
