Please join us on Thursday, September 5, 2024 for the Federation of Vermont Lakes and Ponds Annual Meeting.

The event will begin with a FOVLAP business meeting which will include FOVLAP updates, suggested bylaws changes, and Director and Officer elections.

Next, The Shoreland Protection Act – 10 Years, Looking Back and Looking Ahead. The Shoreland Protection Act was passed 10 years ago. Speakers at the annual meeting will discuss how the act came to be, what has happened over these 10 years, and consider the future of shoreland protection.

These presentations will be followed by a lakes update from the Vermont DEC, a summary of the lakes survey, and individual lake reports and discussion of what is happening on lakes around the state.
