Creating A Watershed Action Plan Together: Partnerships & Collaborations
On March 6th, 2025, the Federation of Vermont Lakes and Ponds held a special event to discuss how to create a Watershed Action Plan for your lake with help from partners and collaborators.
A lake association generally partners with a conservation district to create a Lake Watershed Action Plan (LWAP). So far, fourteen lakes in Vermont have such a plan. In this seminar, we heard from some of those lake associations and conservation districts as they described this LWAP creation phase.
